Some people just piss me off

My mother has wrecked the last two cars she's had because she is an alcoholic and an idiot.

My sister (who is 16) used savings bonds left to her by my grandfather to buy herself a vehicle. It's not ideal for her, and she's in a situation where it wouldn't hurt to get something a little different so I offered her the best deal I could for it. She declined.

No big deal. It would have benefited us both, but she likes it and wants it. And after all, she bought.

Now, it's in my mother's name because my sister is a minor. My sister doesn't have a driver's license, and the thing is just sitting around. I opined that she should sell it to someone, period (it's been driven by other idiot members of the family with no tag, no insurance...there's a good way for her to lose her investment).

My mother says she's going to park it at her house. I said I'd laugh if it just sat there. Then she hits me with, "Well, it's in my name. I'll drive it before I let that happen."

Um, no.

I made it clear I'd be damned if I let that happen. I offered to buy it, fair value. Me and my sister both benefit. I'm fine with the fact that she doesn't want to sell it, but I won't let my mother take advantage of her child (as she had done all of her children when she could). I won't let her steal what doesn't belong to her and then destroy it.

Hopefully someone will offer my sister a better deal than I was able and none of this will come to pass.

It makes me sick what a loathsome parasite my drunken mother can be.

My kind of feminist...

I've considered myself a feminist for as long as I can remember. Just so you know, I'm THIS kind.

A murderer gets his just deserts....

To paraphrase Ted Nugent, upon news of a different death many years ago, "I never liked him, and I'm glad he's dead."

Wait, they fought back? Bad teachers!!

So a kid shows up at school with bombs, a sword, and a chainsaw (no, you can't make that shit up) to commit a 'Columbine-Style Attack' (although it only has the vague similarity to the Columbine attack in style), and he is stopped by people fighting back. Hmmm.,2933,542481,00.html?test=latestnews

You know what? I wonder if his parents will sue the school. After all, fighting back is badwrongevil.

Speaking of cool big things....

I may, (but probably not, so I'm not getting my hopes up) be aquiring a 2004 Chevy TrailBlazer.

It would be kind of cool, even if it isn't exactly what I want in an SUV.

I Want!

Being the overgrown kid that I am, I decided to start a 'favorites' folder titled wants. Basically, it's all the cool stuff that I want...NOW! When I've got a little spare cash I spend it on something from that list.

At the moment, I want:

-A couple of Wilson Combat .45 magazines for my Ultra Raptor.

-A SureFire M600B Scout Light for my M&P15

-Some Fox Labs Pepper Spray

-A PACT, Inc. Club Timer III

-5.11 Tactical Jacket (basically a long sleeved version of the tactical vest)

-A Kershaw "Needs Work" pocket knife

-Benchmade Infidel 3300 Double Edged Front Opener

-Blackhawk! Fury Gloved with Nomex (on sale! and probably my next purchase),1048,1359.htm

Yeah, if you add up the cost of all that stuff you'd probably get the a decent down payment on a new car. You can have one big cool thing, or lots of little ones. I guess you know which I chose.

Ignorance about gun laws just annoys me...

As a result of the recent LEGAL carrying of firearms at a rally in Arizona, a first class idiot will no longer be traveling there:

PHOENIX — Well-known travel icon Arthur Frommer said he'll avoid visiting Arizona because state laws permit "thugs" and "extremists" to openly tote guns.

Frommer, the author of budget-travel guides, said on his blog Wednesday that he was "shocked beyond measure" by reports that protesters openly carried guns and rifles outside a Phoenix building where President Barack Obama spoke on Monday.

As a result, Frommer said he won't be spending his tourism dollars at the Grand Canyon, or anywhere else in Arizona, because he doesn't want to travel in a state where civilians carry loaded weapons as a means of political protest.

"I will cancel any plans to vacation or otherwise visit in Arizona until I learn more," Frommer wrote. "And I will begin thinking about whether tourists should safeguard themselves by avoiding stays in Arizona."

Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon says he spoke with Frommer on Thursday and invited him to visit the city to clear up any possible misconceptions about safety.

Now, I fully support this guy's decision to 'vote with his feet' and 'vote with his wallet,' however I find is annoying, and just a bit amusing that he won't be traveling to Arizona for the stated reasons. I think he needs to do a little research so he can expand the list of states he won't be visiting in order to avoid the ones that allow law abiding citizens to carry loaded firearms.

You can check out his blog entry where he explains his reasons here:

Personally, I think this guy is an idiot. I know his main reasons for boycotting Arizona are the fact that the guns were at a political rally. However, they were no where near the president, who was both inside a building and protected by the best measures available, period (and I'll as far as to say wouldn't have been a threat to him if these people had him surrounded).

It offends me that exercising a right such as this one is considered threatening and extremist. Replace second amendment with any other and their would be outrage at the reaction seen in both the media and the blog world.

OH MY GOD HE'S GOT A GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not long ago a big ruckus was made about a man LEGALLY carrying a gun near where the President was trying to whore his piece of shit health care 'reform.' Now there is another one. All us crackers are in trouble if some crazy white superemicists gun nut takes a shot at the first (sorta) black President.

*scratches head while reading story and watching video*

Hmm. Well, just goes to show ya, I guess. I would just like to say to this guy, one American to another, "Sir, I salute you!"

How To Spend A Sunday Afternoon

Hey, look! It's me shooting my Smith&Wesson M&P15! I actually made this video with my digital camera by accident while I was taking some pictures. Go figure. Anyway, not the best quality, but it is what it is.

Here are a couple of the pictures I took. I had fun, of course!

Sport Utility Rifle aka Assualt Rifle aka Evil Black Rifle

I traded in two of my pistols, my HK P2000sk and my Kimber Stainless II 1911, towards a new rifle, a Smith&Wesson M&P15T. I've only done a very minimal amount of shooting with it, but I like it a LOT! It came with full forward rails, Troy Battle Sights, and a single aluminum 30 round magazine.

I bought 4 Magpul magazines and a forward grip for it. I shot sixty rounds just a little while ago. When it dries out around here I'm going to do some serious shooting with it; sight it in at 25 yards and take it out to 100 yards just to see how it does.
