I spent part of the day shooting this little beauty. It's my newest pistol, a Kimber Ultra Raptor II. It's a 1911 designed for concealed carry. It has a 3" barrel and 7+1 capacity.

It shoots great, and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

nice pistol. i've been thinking of adding a handgun to my meager collection...but i always go back to a battle between revolver vs. pistol. i prefer pistols....but i'd be hard pressed to not admit a revolver can be much more useful in allot of ways. of course i like the little caliber stuff......
.22lr, .22mag, .25 acp, .32 acp, etc. i don't care for the recoil on large calibers like your .45. even in shotguns while i own 2 - 12ga...a browning white lightning citori over/under and a browning bps...i prefer my benelli 20ga. nova. the 20ga. is more useful to me, of course i'm not out killing large prey, i'm just shooting for fun. go ahead call me a girly gun lover....i'd proud of it. i just like smaller caliber weapons over big ones. just like motors in cars. i'll take a 4 or 6 cylinder turbo over a v-8 anyday. i just like small sports cars and small calibers....why? couldn't tell you...i just do.

Thank you! It's been a fun gun to own so far. And hell, as far as girly guns go, I've got a .32 and .380 too. If you're shooting for fun you've got to be able to enjoy it so there's no point in beating yourself up with the large calibers. I like them myself (just like I prefer a but that's me.
