"You're cute" = Sexual Harassment

This fall squarely in the YGTBFKM category:

A 9-year-old boy North Carolina boy was suspended for calling a teacher “cute,” WSOCTV.com reports.

The boy’s mother, Chiquita Lockett, said the principal of Brookside Elementary in Gastonia called her after the incident to say the comment was a form of “sexual harassment.”
I'm sorry, but if the teacher felt she was sexually harassed by being called cute then she is a fucking idiot and should consider suicide, or at the least sterilization.  Ditto for the principal and any other school official who thinks a two day suspension is the proper way to to respond to a student calling a teacher cute.

The trouble is the kids. Nothing should ever come out of their mouths that is not state approved. If only they were taken away at birth and put into camps where they would learn the rote government thinking ('thinking') instead of this independent thought crap.

Next the little %@#&@$ers will do something hideous like hug or smile.

I remember in school getting a 'good citizenship' grade. The less you questioned authority, the higher your grade. Good Citizens never question authority.

Good answer, citizen. When you report to the Ministry of Appropriate Pleasures this weekend you may indulge in an extra 5 minutes of auditory stimulation.

My mother would diagnose that teacher as suffering from "Not Enough Brothers Syndrome.
