Uganda bombings.

An American aid worker was killed and six members of a Pennsylvania church group were seriously wounded as twin bombers tore through crowds watching the World Cup final at a party in Uganda's capital Monday, killing at least 74 people.

This is a typical tactic of terrorists, so we should hardly be surprised that it happened somewhere. It is terrible that it did, but inevitable in a world where we allow these types of people to exist. People were together having fun, enjoying life as best as they could, and that makes religious nuts very unhappy. Can't have people actually enjoying life! They might not devote they every waking effort to the empty promise of sustaining a religion that promises paradise...when you die.

President Obama was "deeply saddened by the loss of life resulting from these deplorable and cowardly attacks," White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he may be saddened by the loss of life, but I also know he probably won't do a damned thing about it that amounts to a real solution.
