The absurdity of nonproliferation.

Nuclear nonproliferation is an attempt to put the genie back in the bottle, to uninvent one of the single greatest developments in human history. It's a joke as practiced for not addressing the real nuclear threats, and it's a joke because nuclear technology has only been used as a weapon twice since their invention 70 years ago.

The mound of corpses being piled up around the world today is not from high-tech nuclear states but from low-tech psycho states. It’s not that Britain has nukes and poor old Sudan has to make do with machetes. It’s that the machete crowd is willing to kill on an industrial scale and the high-tech guys can’t figure out a way to stop them.

John Browning figured that out in 1921. It is called Ma Duce! I had it from my Uncle that it worked just fine on the barbarians in Korea. Even if the barrel ended up glowing in the dark...of course arty and tac air helped also.
